Powertrain Plus Contract
COVERED PARTS:
Engine: Engine head(s); engine block; cylinder barrels;
timing cover; valve cover(s); oil pain; dip stick &
tube, ONLY if damaged by the failure of an internal
part requiring lubrication. The following internal parts
requiring lubrication: pistons, pins & rings; connecting
rods & bearings; crankshaft & main bearings;
camshaft, followers & cam bearings; push rods, valves,
springs, replaceable guides, seats & lifts; rocker
arms, shafts & bushings; timing gear, chain, tensioners
& retainers; eccentric shaft; oil pump.
Transmission: Transmission
case if damaged by an internal part that requires lubrication
and all internal parts requiring lubrication; torque
converter; vacuum modulator and mounts. Does not include
clutch assembly; pressure plate; flywheel; throw out
bearing; worn synchronizers; cable or electrical items.
Driver Axle(s): Differential
house, transaxle housing and final drive housing, if
damaged by the failure of an internal, lubricated part.
All internal, lubricated contained within the housings.
(4)Transfer Case – All internal parts requiring
lubrication.
(5)Water Pump –Impeller shaft; bearings; bushings
and housing.
(6) Seals & Gaskets – Seals and Gaskets are
replaced only as part of repair or replacement of the
above covered components. Leaking gaskets or seals are
not covered as individual repairs.
(7) Turbo/Supercharger – (If surcharge paid) Housing
and all internal parts which require
lubrication; vanes; shafts; and bearings.
(8) A/C – (If enhanced option purchased) Condenser,
compressor, evaporator, expansion valve
and blower motor. The following Components are also
covered if required in connection with the
repair of a listed Covered Component: accumulator/receiver
dryer and orifice tube.
(9) Fuel – (If enhanced option purchased) Fuel
delivery pump, fuel injection pump and metal fuel
delivery lines.
Electrical – (If enhanced option purchased) Alternator,
voltage regulator, starter motor,
ignition switch, front and rear window wiper motor,
headlamp switch, turn signal switch, rear
defogger switch, heater/A.C. blower speed switch, power
window motor, power door lock actuator
and switch. Use of non-original manufacturer's parts
in covered repairs is allowed.
A vehicle service contract (VSC)
is often referred to as an "extended warranty,"
but it is not a warranty. A VSC does, however, provide
repair coverage for your vehicle after the manufacturer's
warranty expires. A VSC is a contract between you and
a VSC provider or administrator that states what is
a covered repair and what is not. AA Auto Protection
is a marketer of VSCs and does not sell warranties.
VSCs sold by AA Auto Protection are agreements between
consumers and third party VSC providers, not AA Auto
Protection.
