Commuters turn to extended auto warranties

Extended auto warranties
Sometimes called an "extended warranty", a service contract is a promise to perform (or pay for) certain repairs or services. Although technically not a “warranty” as defined by federal law, service contracts may be arranged at any time and always costs extra. Warranties, on the other hand, ONLY come with a new car and are included in the original price. Vehicle service contracts are popularly referred to as "extended auto warranties" or "extended warranties". Use of the term "extended warranty" or "warranty" on this site is intended to refer to vehicle service contracts and not manufacturer's warranties.

It's 8 AM, and the highway is a parking lot. You might only be a few miles from work, but its more likely you will simply be lurching forward every few feet rather than getting there quickly. This is the daily reality for commuters in many major cities. What these drivers don't realize is the hidden damage being done to their engine, which could be protected with an extended warranty.

Traffic jams are a common occurrence during rush-hour. Experienced commuters are quite familiar with the sinking feeling of seeing nothing but brake lights for miles.

Commuters may not think about it, but their cars are also their livelihood. Its the only way to get to work, and if their car succumbs to breakdown it could have negative consequences on their career.

Stop-and-go traffic takes a heavy toll on a vehicle. While your car is idling as you sit in traffic, carbon deposits are forming in your engine. These deposits build up over time, and can eventually clog fuel injectors and other critical parts that keep your car running.

Now, imagine this happening every day- sometimes twice. Commuters certainly put a lot of strain on the cars that are so important to their well-being.

Drivers can counteract this damage by investing in a bumper-to-bumper warranty. Traffic may be unavoidable - but the costs of a total breakdown due to daily commutes are not.ADNFCR-2896-ID-19801850-ADNFCR
