CENTURY AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE CORP STANDARD PLAN COVERAGE DETAILS*

The following parts are covered:

 

ENGINE: All internal Components of the engine that require lubrication for operation. Oil pump, harmonic balancer, engine block, cylinder heads, oil pan, and timing chain cover are also covered only if damaged by failure of a covered internally lubricated engine Component.

 

TRANSMISSION: All internal Components of the transmission that require lubrication fro operation. Torque converter, vacuum modulator, accumulator, electronic shift control unit, transmission case, and oil pan are covered only if damaged by failure of a covered internally lubricated transmission Component.

 

DRIVE AXLE (FRONT AND REAR): All internally lubricated Components contained within the drive axle housing, plus the following: locking hubs, drive shafts, center support bearings, universal joints, constant velocity joints (except when damaged as a result of a torn or missing CV boot). Drive axle housing and differential cover are covered only if damaged by failure of a covered internally lubricated drive axle Component.

 

COOLING: Engine cooling fan and motor, water pump, and fan clutch

 

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM: Condenser, compressor, evaporator, expansion valve, and blower motor. The following Components are also covered if required in connection with the repair of a listed Covered Component: accumulator/receiver dryer and orifice tube.

 

FUEL SYSTEM: Fuel delivery pump, fuel injection pump, and metal fuel delivery lines

 

ELECTRICAL: Alternator, voltage regulator, starter motor, starter solenoid, ignition switch, front and rear window wiper motor and switch, washer pump and switch, headlamp switch, turn signal switch, rear defogger switch, heater/A.C. blower speed switch, power window motor and switch, power door lock actuator and switch.

 

4X4 TRANSFER CASE: All internal Components of the transfer case that require lubrication for operation.

 

SEALS and GASKETS: Seals and Gaskets are covered only in conjunction with a covered component repair. Leaking gaskets or seals are not covered and stand-alone seals or gaskets failures are not covered.

 

 

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:


MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN RENTAL CAR BENEFIT: During the time when your vehicle is being repaired at an authorized repair facility for the failure of a covered part, you may qualify for rental car reimbursement of up to $30 per day, with a 5-day maximum, not to exceed $150 per occurrence. Vehicle must be rented from the dealer or from a licensed auto rental facility. Rental car reimbursement will not continue beyond the day that repairs are completed and you are notified of the completion.

 

EMERGENCY ROADSIDE SERVCE: Vehicle Service Contract Roadside Assistance Program Emergency Roadside Assistance is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for your disabled vehicle during the term of your active vehicle service contract. For roadside assistance you must call the dispatch number at 1-800-646-1009 to have service dispatched to your location, enter account number 130044 and have your Vehicle Service Contract number to have service dispatched to your location. Roadside Assistance consists of Tire Change Service to change your flat tire with your inflated spare, Jump Start Service to jump start a dead or weak battery, Lock-Out Service in gaining entry of the passenger compartment of your vehicle only, Vehicle Fluid Delivery to deliver gas or other vehicle fluids or Tow Service. Services are limited to a maximum of $80.00 per incident. The cost of vehicle fluids and key cutting/replacement are not covered. Any amounts over the program limits are payable to the service provider at the time of service. Only the registered vehicle for which the Vehicle Service Contract was purchased is covered under this program. Service excludes RV’s, fleet vehicles, off road vehicles, trailers, any vehicles in tow, vehicles over one ton capacity, commercial vehicles, vehicles already at a repair facility, or any vehicle which at the sole determination of the service provider is in such condition that service is likely to result in damage to the vehicle. Services not dispatch through the above roadside assistance dispatch toll-free number are not reimbursable. Theft, vandalism and accident related incidents are not covered. Service may not be available in areas where state/provincial providers are exclusively utilized. No service may be duplicated within 72 hours of the initial request.
