The Silver Advantage Protection Plan offers enhanced vehicle
component coverage, including many items that typically require additional
surcharges. The Silver Advantage also provides for enhanced diagnostic
services and the flexibility to apply this plan to vehicles still under
factory warranty or out of factory warranty. Additionally, the Silver
Advantage Protection Plan is available for vehicles up to 10 years old
and 100,000 miles. Coupled with UNLIMITED MILEAGE, and offered at hundreds
of dollars less than you'd expect to pay - the Silver Advantage Protection

ENGINE: (Gas or Diesel) Cylinder block and cylinder head(s), including all internal parts requiring lubrication; oil pump, timing drive gears, timing belt or chain, camshaft, valve train, intake and exhaust manifolds(s), Gas Fuel Injection System, Vacuum Pump, Primary Fuel Pump. Valve guides, Valve seals, Piston rings, and front & rear main seals, Harmonic balancer, Tensioners, Valve cover(s), O2 Sensor.
TRANSMISSION: (Automatic or Manual) Transmission case and including all internal parts requiring lubrication; torque converter and torque converter housing, Vacuum Modulator, Transmission Mounts, Cooler Lines (Metal), External & Internal Control Units, Seals & Gaskets.
DRIVE AXLE: Rear drive axle housings and including all internal parts requiring lubrication; Universal joints and constant velocity joints; drive shaft(s), yokes and drive shaft carrier(s); [Four wheel drive transfer case and all internally lubricated parts]. Hubs & Wheel bearings, C-V Boots, Front Wheel Drive Accuator.
BRAKES: All hydraulic brake system components. Anti-Lock Braking System,: Electronic control processor, accumulator, hydraulic pump/motor assembly, isolation dump valve and pressure modulator valve.
COOLING: Water pump; thermostat; radiator fan and fan clutch; electric radiator fan motor, heater core.
ELECTRICAL: Starter motor and solenoid, starter relay, alternator; voltage regulator, front & rear windshield wiper motor, power window switches, power window motors, convertible top power motor, ignition management controls, power seat motors and adjusting mechanisms.
SUSPENSION: Upper and lower control arms and shafts: upper and lower ball joints; spindle; coil and leaf springs only if cracked or broken.
STEERING: Steering Box and Steering Rack and Pinion and including all internal parts requiring lubrication; Power Steering Pump; Power Steering Cooler. Power Steering Hoses and Couplings, Pitmon arm, Idler Arm, Tie Rod Ends.
AIR CONDITIONING: (Factory installed only) Compressor, Condenser, receiver dryer and accumulator, Compression Seals, Compression Clutch, Clutch Bearing, Idler Pulley, and Evaporator. refrigerant and evacuate and recharge.
FLUIDS: Covered in conjunction with a covered repair.
SEALS AND GASKETS: Cam Housing Gasket(s), Front Cam Shaft Seals, Oil Pan Gasket, Timing Cover Gasket, Transmission Pan Gaskets, Head Gasket(s), Intake Manifold Gasket(s), valve Cover Gasket. All other seals and gaskets are covered only when required in conjunction with the replacement of a covered part or component.
TURBO OR SUPERCHARGER: (Factory installed) Turbo charger or supercharger housing and including all internal parts requiring lubrication.
LABOR: This contract covers labor charges, for approved repairs, based upon the national industry average. Labor times are based solely on current labor guides. Up to $65 per Hour (ALLDATA/Mitchell’s).
SUBSTITUTE TRANSPORTATION: Should a covered part or component repair take longer than sixteen (16) labor hours to complete, excluding parts availability & delivery time, we will reimburse you at the maximum rate of thirty-five dollars ($35) per day for up to, but not to exceed, 4 days toward a rental vehicle. We will not reimburse you for mileage or other charges related to the rental vehicle.
TOWING: If your vehicle becomes disabled due to the failure of a covered part or component, and needs to be towed, we will reimburse you up to a maximum of sixty dollars ($60) for the towing of your vehicle to a repair center of your choice.
DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES: This contract covers diagnostic charges, for approved claims, up to $80. Diagnostics are based on current labor guides (Mitchell’s) and the national industry average labor rate.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY: Total accumulative Claims shall not exceed the average value of the vehicle listed in N.A.D.A. Official Used Car Trade-In Guide at the time of the present claim. Any claim within 30 days or 1,000 miles of purchase mileage may be considered a pre-existing condition at the discretion of G.L.W.C.
SALES TAX: On repairs are not covered.
IMPORTANT
In order to receive the full coverage of this limited service contract
you must, at your expense, maintain your vehicle according to the manufacturer’s
minimum service requirements, except engine oil and filter, which must
be changed every three months or 3,000 miles (whichever comes first).
Evidence of proper service (repair invoices) must be submitted in the
event of a claim.
