Silver Coverage

For vehicles model year 1997 or newer and under 80,000 miles

The Silver Coverage was developed to recognize both the sophistication in the vehicle you may own, while still providing quality coverage at an affordable price. This plan provides a high level of stated component coverage for vehicles that are beyond most manufacturer warranties.


ENGINE: Engine block, cylinder head(s), cylinder barrels, timing cover, valve cover(s) and oil pan are covered only if damaged by the failure of an internal lubricated part listed below.

The following internal lubricated parts are covered: Pistons, wrist pins and rings, connecting rods and bearings, crankshaft and bearings, camshaft, lifters, followers and cam bearings, rocker arms, push rods, shafts and bushings, valves, springs, replaceable guides, seats, timing gear and chain, timing chain or belt and tensioners, oil pump, water pump, intake and exhaust manifolds, engine mounts and cushions, engine torque strut, harmonic balancer, flywheel/flex plate and ring gear, dip stick and filler tube. Also covered are the internal lubricated parts of the vehicle manufacturer installed turbocharger or supercharger. The housing is only covered by the failure of an internal lubricated part.

 

DRIVE AXLE: Differential housing, transaxle housing and final drive housing only if damaged by the failure of an internal lubricated part.

All parts contained within the housing including the following internal lubricated parts are covered: Axle shafts, gear sets, bearings, constant velocity joints (CV), universal joints, drive shaft, locking hubs and rings, supports and retainers.

 

SEALS AND GASKETS: All seals and gaskets for the specific components listed are covered, as either individual repair or in conjunction with the repair of a covered component.

 

TRANSMISSION: Differential housing, transaxle housing and final drive housing only if damaged by the failure of an internal lubricated part.

All parts contained within the housing including the following internal lubricated parts are covered: Axle shafts, gear sets, bearings, constant velocity joints (CV), universal joints, drive shaft, locking hubs and rings, supports and retainers.

 

AIR CONDITIONING: Compressor, clutch, clutch coil, and clutch pulley,condenser, condenser, condenser fan motor, evaporator, POA valve, accumulator, orifice, temperature control programmer and power module, high/low cut off switch, pressure cycling switch, receiver-drier.

 

BRAKES: Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) – wheel sensors, its pump and pressure control module. Master cylinder, power assist-booster pump, vacuum assist booster, wheel cylinders, combination valve (proportioning valve), steel hydraulic lines and fittings, brake calipers and rear actuators, backing plates, springs, clips, self adjusters, parking brake linkage, and cables.

 

FUEL SYSTEM: Mechanical and electrical pump, fuel tank sending unit, fuel injection pump or diesel fuel distributor, metal fuel lines, fuel injectors, fuel injector sensors and control module.

 

HEATING/COOLING SYSTEM: Thermostat, radiator and mounting brackets; fan, fan motor and blade, fan clutch, controller module and shroud; coolant recovery unit; heater core, AC/Heater blower motor.

 

ELECTRICAL: Starter and solenoid, alternator, voltage regulator, distributor, main wiring harness, manually operated switches, wiper motors, gauges, window motors, rear window defroster, mirror motors, seat motors, convertible top motor, power door lock actuators, cruise control-transducer, servo and engagement switch, combination turn signal switch, horn(s) and horn button, wiper delay switch and controller, washer pump, sun/moon roof motor and manual switch, front differential engagement switch and motor.

 

STEERING (Manual & Power): Gear housing is covered only if damaged by the failure of an internal lubricated part. All parts contained within the steering rack/gear housing are covered including the following: rack and pinion, power steering pump, power cylinder, main and intermediate shafts, couplings, cooler and cooler hard lines, pitman arm, idler arm, tie rod ends.

 

SUSPENSION: Upper and lower control arms, control arm, shafts and bushings, upper and lower ball joints, steering knuckles, wheel bearings, stabilizer shaft, linkage and bushings, king pins and bushings, spindle and support, torsion bars, leaf springs, coil springs.

 

LABOR: Labor hours determined by currently published, nationally recognized, flat rate guides (e.g.: ALLDATA, Mitchell, Motors, etc.). The labor rate will be determined by nationally accepted industry standards, which vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to: the geographic region, type of repair facility and type of repair being performed. You use the repair facility of YOUR choice (dealer, national chain, local mechanic) and pays your claim quickly and efficiently over the phone via our corporate credit card.

 

ROAD AMERICA MOTOR CLUB:

AA AutoWarranty.com offers the most comprehensive road-side assistance program for the entire life of your policy.

We provide customers of our warranty program a membership into ‘Road America Motor Club’, at no additional cost, for the entire term of the policy. Even though we hope you are never faced with a roadside emergency, we are extending this benefit to provide additional ‘peace of mind’ to our consumers and their families.

Emergency Roadside Assistance 24 hours a day/365 days a year - Upon enrollment in an extended service contract with AA AutoWarranty.com, you will be provided with a toll-free number which will allow access to our motor club network throughout the United States and Canada. ‘Covered emergencies’ are subject to a $50.00 per occurrence limitation. 1-800-325-9028

Towing Assistance - If your car cannot be started or driven, a contracted service provider will tow your vehicle to a service facility. ($50.00) per occurrence.

Battery Assistance - If a battery failure occurs, a jump start will be applied by a service technician to start the covered vehicle.

Flat Tire Assistance - A technician’s service consists of removal of the flat tire and its replacement with a customer provided spare tire.

Fuel, Oil, Fluid, and Water Delivery Service - A service vehicle will be dispatched to deliver an emergency supply of fuel, oil, fluid and water if you are in immediate need.

Emergency Lock-Out Assistance - In the event that your keys are locked inside the vehicle, our service technician will provide assistance in gaining entry to the vehicle.

Rental - In the event of a covered mechanical failure, there will be reimbursement for actual expenses occurred for substitute transportation at the maximum daily rate of $35.00 per day, not to exceed 6 days.

Travel Expenses - In the event of a covered mechanical failure, there will be reimbursement for up to $100.00 per day for a period not to exceed 5 days for restaurant, meals, and lodging that you incur for staying at a hotel/motel when your vehicle can not be operated and is more than 100 miles from your home.
